Homes Victoria is seeking a Specialist Procurement Partner to provide specialist procurement advice and lead strategic direction of the procurement function, partnering with stakeholders to support delivery of Homes Victoria's critical procurement program.

The role emphasises engaging with internal teams, applying government policies, and building transparent tendering and contract management processes across metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria.

Qualifications

• Experience providing procurement advice to internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of government procurement policies (e.g., Local Jobs First).
• Experience establishing tendering and contract development processes.

THE ROLE

The Specialist Procurement Partner is responsible for providing specialist procurement advice and leadership in procurement, and contribute to the strategic direction of the procurement function, and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support delivery of Homes Victoria's critical procurement program.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

• Engage and provide authoritive advice to key internal stakeholders on policies, procedures, systems and standards to enable delivery of effective, outcomes focused procurement activities within legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise on government policies such as Local Jobs First, Social Procurement, etc.
• Establish and maintain tendering, purchasing and contract development and management processes and systems that are rigorous, transparent and have credibility with all stakeholders.
