Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum GP with Emergency Department experience to cover a public hospital in rural Australia. The assignment runs from 28 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, with travel and accommodation provided. The role includes ED and wards coverage with overnight on-call duties.

Must hold current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner. This rural posting offers a rewarding environment and opportunities to work with a dedicated team in a well-equipped facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in Emergency Department and ward cover for public hospitals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shift hours run 24 hours (0800–0800) for locum coverage during the placement.
