Job summary

Medrecruit is seeking Consultant/Specialist/VMO obstetrics and gynaecology locums for a 99-bed rural referral hospital in New South Wales, Australia. Roles include on-call shifts and standard daytime coverage across September 2026, with travel and accommodation included.

Rates are $2500/day for GP O&G and $3000/day for O&G VMO, with all rates inclusive of superannuation and taxes. AHPRA registration is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a medical practitioner registered with AHPRA.
• Locum experience in obstetrics and gynaecology is advantageous.
• Able to cover on-call and day shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics and gynaecology care as Consultant/Specialist/VMO.
• Cover scheduled locum shifts including on-call periods.
• Coordinate with hospital services for patient care and handovers.
