Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities and learning difficulties in a classroom setting.
• Ability to support student growth academically and socially.
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a Screening Clearance Number before starting.

Responsibilities

• As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will under teacher direction, assist in education programs and in promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide feedback on education and therapy programs and participate in evaluation of goals in special education.
• Support students with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties in achieving their goals within the classroom.
