Job summary

Synchro is seeking a Spacecraft Thermal Engineer in Sydney to own thermal analysis and design across the spacecraft, collaborating closely with electronics, avionics and broader spacecraft teams. The role focuses on ensuring thermal integrity for components and subsystems in varying space environments.

You will work hands-on with thermal models and participate in design reviews, simulations and testing to enable successful orbiting assets. An equity stake is offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of thermal engineering experience.
• Spacecraft experience required.
• Hands-on thermal modeling experience.
• Familiar with Thermal Desktop, ESATAN, Systema/Thermica or NX Space Systems Thermal.

Responsibilities

• Own thermal analysis and design across the vehicle.
• Collaborate with electronics and avionics teams.
• Support thermal testing and validation activities.
