Lifeline Queensland is hiring a casual Sorter at the Kunda Park Distribution Centre to sort and categorise donated goods and process orders for Lifeline’s charity stores. The role involves repetitive tasks, lifting and standing, in a warehouse with seasonal temperatures.

Our Distribution Centres across Queensland provide our 120 retail stores with quality donated goods, giving pre-loved items a second life and bringing in profit to support our Crisis Support Line and suicide prevention services.Let’s make a meaningful difference, together.Your part in our Lifeline teamWorking out of our Kunda Park Distribution Centre, you will:Sort and categorize a large volume donated goods, and discard unsaleable itemsPick and process ordersMaintain work stations and storage areas in a clean and tidy manner, including moving stock and rubbish to allocated areasEnsure all paperwork relative to your role is recorded accurately and on a daily basisWork harmoniously with volunteers and other employees to promote a positive team environmentImportant:This role involves repetitive tasks such as lifting, carrying, standing and walking for long periods.
