Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior Sonographer for a permanent role across Sydney CBD and Eastern Suburbs. You will manage a varied ultrasound workload, report findings, and maintain imaging quality while supporting junior staff and the day-to-day clinic operations.

The role offers a stable permanent position with a consistent weekday roster and optional Saturday shifts for extra flexibility and earnings potential. Strong ASAR accreditation and broad modality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have ASAR accreditation or equivalent Australian credential.
• Proven experience across General ultrasound, MSK, Obs/Gyn, Vascular, and Small Parts.
• Strong communication and patient-focused care required.

Responsabilités

• Perform and report a broad range of ultrasound examinations.
• Deliver patient-centred care across diverse demographics.
• Collaborate with radiologists, referrers and clinic teams.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to QA and clinical excellence.

About the position

Our client is looking for a Senior Sonographer to step into a permanent role across one or multiple sites (depending on your preference). You'll manage a varied ultrasound workload and play a key part in maintaining imaging quality, supporting junior staff, and contributing to smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

Your day-to-day will include

• Performing and reporting a broad range of ultrasound examinations:
  • General ultrasound
  • MSK
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Vascular
  • Small Parts
• Delivering patient-centred care across a diverse patient demographic
• Working collaboratively with radiologists, referrers, and clinic teams
• Contributing to clinical excellence, quality assurance, and mentoring where required

Roster

• Permanent role
• Monday to Friday, 7.6 hours per day
• Occasional Saturday shifts available if preferred

Key requirements

• Relevant Australian sonography qualifications (ASAR accreditation required)
• Proven experience across General, MSK, Obs/Gynae, Vascular, and Small Parts
• Strong scanning capability with a quality-first mindset
• Excellent communication and patient rapport
• Ability to work autonomously while supporting a team environment
• Commitment to best practice and continuous improvement
