Job summary

North Queensland X-ray Services Townsville is seeking a competent Sonographer to join our private diagnostic imaging team. You will perform General Ultrasound, MSK and Obstetrics studies, delivering outstanding patient care and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

The successful candidate will hold ASAR accreditation, thrive in a busy clinical setting, and work well with referrers and colleagues. Newly graduated sonographers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Accreditation with ASAR.
• Experience in General Ultrasound, MSK & Obstetrics essential.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong technical and computer skills.
• Accurate attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Ability to deliver quality work under pressure.

North Queensland X-ray Services is a Private Diagnostic Imaging provider in Townsville,offering a comprehensive range of services including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, General X-ray, Echocardiography and Interventional Procedures.

We are currently looking for competent and motivated Sonographers to join our young and dynamic team.

The role:

Operating hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm & Saturday 8am-1pm.

Key position focus:

• A commitment to excellent patient care and customer service;
• A high level of experience in General Ultrasound, MSK & Obstetrics;
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with referrersand colleagues.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• Accreditation withASAR;
• Experience in general, MSK & Obstetrics essential;
• Ability to work well in a team environment;
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical and computer skills.
• Accurate and sharp attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and the ability to show initiative.
• Ability to deliver quality work and remain calm under pressure.
