Redgate is seeking a Solutions Engineer in Brisbane to be the technical expert for APAC partners, customers, and the sales team. You will show how Redgate products solve real-world problems, build customer confidence, and contribute to customer success daily.

The role involves presenting to customers, providing technical guidance, and traveling across APAC region with occasional after-hours work. Hybrid work in Brisbane with a focus on outcomes and collaboration.

• Experience in a high-tech company as a Solutions Engineer or equivalent role.
• Customer-first mindset with ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work autonomously in a team.
• Experience delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations.

Responsabilidades

• Maximise sales opportunities using technical expertise and recommendations before and during the contract.
• Deliver tailored technical presentations and software demonstrations per customer requirements.
• Build rapport and drive adoption of best practices to increase customer satisfaction.
• Join customer meetings and share insights with the sales team to improve outcomes.
• Deliver technical training to the sales team and represent Redgate at events.

About the role

As a Solutions Engineer in Brisbane, you’ll be the technical expert and trusted advisor for Redgate’s partners, customers, and sales teams across APAC. You’ll show how our products solve real‑world problems, help our local team build their technical confidence, and make a difference to customer success every day. It’s a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and sharing what they know.

• Maximise sales opportunities with your technical expertise and recommendations, both before the initial sale and throughout the customer’s contract, while helping the team meet revenue targets and keeping the customer experience positive
• Give technical presentations and software demonstrations, shaped around each customer’s specific requirements
• Build rapport and encourage adoption of industry best practices, leading to happier customers and future opportunities
• Join face‑to‑face customer meetings and share what you learn about how our customers operate with the wider sales team
• Present at events and webinars and through Redgate and social channels, and deliver technical training to the sales team

Please note that the role involves travel to prospects, customers, and partners across the APAC region, as well as visits to our UK headquarters. It may occasionally require work outside typical working hours.

What makes you a great fit

• Solid experience working in a high‑tech company as a Solutions Engineer, or in a role at an equivalent technical level
• An understanding of the platforms our tools work on, such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, and Visual Studio
• Commercial awareness, a customer‑first approach, and a genuine desire to understand the issues our customers face
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, both in person and remote
• A genuine interest in technology and the ability to learn technical information quickly, as a proactive, self‑motivated team player
