Contract & Location

• 12-month contract with a view to extend
• Very competitive rates!
• Based in Melbourne CBD with some WFH

The Project & Role

You will be involved in both cloud infrastructure and application solution.

You will be involved in the design and business analysis of a number of customer solutions and product delivery projects. It will be working on migrating existing payment systems and providing innovative change on applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform.

You will need to be able to manage requirements from internal and external teams and provide guidance as well as producing complex integration solution design. As part of requirements management, you will be expected to own story creation and management especially specifying detailed acceptance criteria. Worked with multiple teams of up to 6 people in an Agile environment and acted like an SME. You will have a unique working environment specifically set up for solution designers on this project.

The background & experience required

• 8+ years industry experience.
• Designing and delivering enterprise software solutions (microservices, product application, databases, CI / CD tools, integration etc.).
• Some software development, engineering and analysis within .Net and SQL server (or other similar).
• Designing and implementing enterprise multi-tier software solutions such as API's etc.
• Strong Business Analysis skills - drive various business analysis activities and translate requirements and solution designs.
• Been in a Solution Designer role or similar.
• Hands-on Design experience.
• Must have customer facing experience.
• Agile projects and environments.
• Having a software engineering background would be a bonus!
• Highly motivated and able to self-manage.
• Must be passionate, team player and enthusiastic.
• Flexible to work in various areas of the business.
