Solution Architecture & Business Systems Manager

The Valrose team have been engaged to recruit a Solution Architecture & Business Systems Manager for a mature, values‑driven organisation with operations across multiple WA sites. This position sits at a senior level within the technology function, with accountability for the full delivery lifecycle and ongoing evolution of operationally critical business systems.

If you enjoy leading solution delivery teams, shaping application and integration architecture, and partnering closely with the business from idea through to delivery, this role offers real scope and influence.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Transforming business and technology strategy into actionable delivery roadmaps and architectural decisions.
• Providing oversight of solution design across applications, data and integrations.
• Managing the complete lifecycle of vital business systems – from implementation and improvement to replacement when necessary.
• Building teams, managing performance and developing careers.

This is a hands‑on leadership role – close enough to the technology to make sound architectural decisions, while providing clear direction, coaching, and support to your team.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Your proven success as a technology leader combining people management with solution architecture across business systems and integration.
• Your significant experience in a Solution Delivery Manager, Business Systems Manager, or Solution Architecture Manager position.
• Your proven track record managing and developing a multi‑disciplinary team spanning architecture, applications, data and/or integration.
• Your strong background in solution and applications architecture for business systems.
• Your hands‑on experience delivering solutions in cloud environments (e.g. M365, Azure, AWS).
• Your experience partnering with business stakeholders from initial idea through to delivery and BAU transition.
• Your background in overseeing business systems and data platforms over time, including improvement programs, version changes and system replacement.
