Job summary

Bluefin Resources is seeking a Solution Architect for the Microsoft Power Platform with hands-on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI. You will lead discovery and architecture, delivering secure and maintainable digital solutions for a client in Brisbane's CBD.

This role is a 6-month contract with strong governance and delivery expectations. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience, strong business analysis, and the ability to communicate decisions

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience as a Power Platform architect or digital solutions lead.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and delivery with Power Platform stack.
• Ability to design secure, maintainable, scalable solutions.

Solution Architect - Power Platform

• 6 Month contract
• Brisbane, CBD
• Must have experience in Power Platform, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI

Lead the discovery, architecture, delivery and initial establishment of our client's Microsoft Power Platform and digital solutions service.

What you will be doing is?

Deliver early value while putting in place the practices, guardrails, capability and support arrangements needed for solutions to remain secure, maintainable and useful after the initial engagement.

Accountability:

• Engage and Discover
• Develop pragmatic options spanning process change, end-user computing remediation, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power BI, Copilot Studio, SaaS and other platforms. Explain benefits, limitations, risks, dependencies, support implications and indicative effort.
• Architect fit-for-purpose solutions - Create proportionate conceptual and solution architecture

Must have experience in:

• Senior-level experience as a Power Platform solution architect, digital solutions lead or equivalent, with personal accountability for both design decisions and delivered outcomes.
• Deep, current experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Online and Power BI, including hands-on troubleshooting and delivery.
• Ability to design secure, maintainable solutions that consider data, integration, identity, access, environments, lifecycle, monitoring and support.
• Strong business analysis and facilitation skills, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, option assessment and constructive challenge.
• Demonstrated judgement in build-versus-buy and Power Platform suitability decisions.
• Experience establishing governance, development standards, assurance and sustainable operating practices.
• Ability to communicate complex decisions clearly to executives, business stakeholders, technical teams and providers.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing demand and leave practical, reusable artefacts behind.
