Job summary

Pathway Search is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own architecture across our broker network and commercial insurance portfolio. You will lead a major platform transformation, migrating products from legacy systems to modern Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.

You’ll collaborate with Broker, Product, Underwriting, Claims, Operations and Technology stakeholders to shape comprehensive solutions. You will define target-state architecture, integration patterns, and migration approaches,

Qualifications

• Lead/Principal Solution Architect on large-scale insurance transformation programs.
• Hands-on Guidewire across PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter — configuration, integration and migration.
• Strong commercial or general insurance domain knowledge, ideally broker-distributed products.
• End-to-end solution design ownership, from business requirements through to target-state architecture.
• Ability to work across delivery teams, vendors and business owners at the same time.
• Senior stakeholder engagement experience, including architecture governance.

A major general insurer needs a Solution Architect to own architecture across their Broker Network and Commercial Insurance portfolio. This isn't an advisory role — you're leading a significant platform transformation, moving commercial insurance products off legacy systems onto modern Guidewire Policy and Claims platforms. You'll work directly with Broker, Product, Underwriting, Claims, Operations and Technology stakeholders to shape solutions across the full insurance value chain. You define the target-state architecture, integration patterns and migration approaches. You present and defend your designs through formal governance. Real ownership, real complexity. What you'll bring:

• Proven experience as a Lead or Principal Solution Architect on large-scale insurance transformation programs
• Hands-on Guidewire across PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter — configuration, integration and migration
• Strong commercial or general insurance domain knowledge, ideally broker-distributed products
• End-to-end solution design ownership, from business requirements through to target-state architecture

This is an urgent role

Based in Sydney CBD. Direct Guidewire transformation experience in a commercial or broker insurance context will put you at the front of the queue.
