Job summary

Shine Lawyers in Sunshine, Victoria, is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join the Personal Injury team. This full-time, permanent position offers autonomy to manage WorkCover and TAC matters within a supportive, client‑centred environment.

As a champion for clients, you will deliver high-quality advice, build relationships, and work within a collaborative team that values growth and trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Laws and a current practising certificate.
• Post-admission experience in Personal Injury.
• Strong understanding of legislation and legal documentation.
• Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters.
• Maturity and confidence to handle clients in a trauma-informed way.
• Desire to be part of a cohesive team and contribute to culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to PI clients.
• Manage a portfolio of Personal Injury matters with professionalism and empathy.
• Deliver tailored legal advice aligned with client understanding.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through clear communication.
• Prepare and review legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage own files efficiently with strong organisational awareness.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to the team environment.

• Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients seeking compensation.
• Manage a variety of personal injury matters with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
• Deliver clear, tailored legal advice that aligns with each client's level of understanding.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular, transparent communication and effective expectation management.
• Prepare and review legal documentation with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage your own file load efficiently, demonstrating strong organisational and commercial awareness.
• Contribute positively to the team environment and provide support to junior colleagues where appropriate.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• A Bachelor of Laws, and a current practising certificate.
