Job summary

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer in Sydney seeks a Solicitor to join our leading Dispute Resolution team. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex litigation and regulatory matters, gaining extensive client exposure and developing a national network.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years post‑admission experience, admission in Australia or New Zealand, and a demonstrated track record across commercial litigation with a financial services regulatory focus.

We are seeking a Solicitor to join our leading Band 1 and award-winning Dispute Resolution team to be based in Sydney. In this role you will work closely with leading partners Luke Hastings and Andrew Eastwood and other senior lawyers across the national group. The team advises major domestic and international clients on complex litigation and high-profile regulatory matters. You will be exposed to matters spanning enforcement actions, investigations, class actions, appeals and commissions of inquiry, often at the cutting edge or regulatory and corporate risk. We will provide you with extensive client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. You will benefit from exceptional learning opportunities working in a team of highly ambitious and collaborative fee-earners.

What you’ll bring

• Admission as a Lawyer in Australia or New Zealand.
