Recruitment 24/7 is seeking a qualified Electrician with solar experience for our client in the Bayside Logan Ipswich surrounds area. The role offers a casual rate starting from AU$50.00 per hour with potential to transition to a permanent position.

Applicants should have an electrical licence, 2+ years post-trade experience, and solar industry exposure. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, installing and maintaining electrical systems, fault-finding, and delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• Current Electrical Licence required.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience.
• 2+ years' solar industry experience preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Current Driver's Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Carry out new electrical installations, renovations, maintenance, and fault-finding.
• Select, cut, and connect wires and cables to terminals and connectors.
• Use electrical testing equipment to diagnose faults.
• Repair and replace faulty wiring and defective components.
• Position and install electrical switchboards.
• Connect electrical systems to power supplies.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain professional communication.
• Attend scheduled safety meetings and daily pre-start meetings.
• Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
