Platinum Solar Group is seeking a Solar & Battery Storage Trainer & Assessor to lead theory and hands-on workshops for electricians in NSW. You will cover design, installation, testing, and commissioning to current AS/NZS standards and SAA pathways in a modern facility with a Monday–Friday schedule.
The role requires an unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence, grid-connected solar experience, and TAE qualifications or willingness to upgrade.
Qualifikationen
- Current unrestricted electrical licence (NSW A-Grade or equivalent).
- Experience installing, commissioning, or designing grid-connected solar and battery energy storage systems.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or willingness to obtain upgrade is highly regarded.
- SAA/Grid-Connect accreditation or prior equivalent is preferred.
Aufgaben
- Deliver accredited units of competency covering solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Facilitate hands-on practical training in workshop booths and safety compliant setups.
- Conduct competency-based assessments and mark pre-course work against benchmarks.
- Ensure equipment and safety gear comply with WHS legislation and standards.
- Mentor students through technical problem-solving and compliance requirements.
