Job summary

SCT resources in Melbourne, VIC, Australia invites applications for a Software Tester to join a growing centralized QA department supporting a major bank project. This role is part of a wider effort to strengthen testing capabilities and ensure reliable releases.

You will support the business through all stages of the software testing lifecycle, apply analytical skills to validate releases, manage deadlines, and contribute to defect investigations within the TCOE team.

Our client (one of the biggest bank) is creating an additional centralized QA department. Resouces will be working with TCOE team.

You will provide support to the business through all aspects of the software testing lifecycle, effectively planning and organizing the testing of projects. You will apply your excellent analytical and problem solving skills to help validate releases through careful testing to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA function within IT. You will be familiar with SDLC variants and the role of each in testing, and have experience using your excellent communication skills to manage multiple testing projects to tight deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and do what is required to get the project across the line. We are looking for someone who has solid experience in defect investigation.
