Job summary

One Group in Melbourne is seeking a Junior to mid-level Software Tester for a permanent role. The position focuses on delivering quality software in wholesale, manufacturing, and import/export domains, with experience in these industries a notable advantage.

You will identify test requirements, create test plans and scripts for system, integration and regression tests, perform API, web and mobile testing, and contribute to agile processes using Atlassian tools ensuring traceability and robust QA

Our client is located in Melbourne and has an opportunity for a Junior to mid-level Software Tester to join them on a permanent basis.

Their products are extensively used within the wholesaling, multiple locations, manufacturing, Import/export domain so experience within these industries will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, prepare and document test requirements
• Create detailed and comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases for system, integration and regression tests
• Previous experienced testing Java based systems
• Create and execute manual test scenarios
• Create progress reports
• Maintain test assets and infrastructure
• Identify, investigate and re-test system issues
• Create and maintain a requirements traceability matrix
• Ability to be proactively involved in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing

Experience required:

• API testing, web and mobile device testing
• Implementing risk-based testing principles
• Have worked in an Agile development environment
• Experienced with the use of the Atlassian tool suite
