Job summary

LevereX.AI in Brisbane is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a distributed team and deliver AI-powered software for Australia's construction and trades industries. You’ll own delivery processes, drive quality, and influence architecture while staying hands-on.

This hybrid role offers 3 days in the Indooroopilly office and 2 at home, flexible hours, training budgets, and a base salary of AUD 175,000–195,000 plus super, with direct access to leadership and meaningful input into

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production software at scale.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers and managing offshore or distributed teams.
• Commitment to agentic coding and AI-driven development using AI coding agents.
• Strong communication to explain technical decisions clearly.
• Experience with Azure/Node.js/TypeScript/React/PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Build practical engineering processes, workflows and delivery systems from the ground up.
• Lead daily engineering operations, priorities, workload planning, stand-ups and career development.
• Review code, oversee releases and deployments, and ensure quality standards.
• Guide software architecture and technical design, keeping integrations practical, secure and well documented.
• Champion agentic coding and AI-driven development practices across the software development process.
