Job summary

Acme in Western Sydney is seeking a TAS Teacher for Software Engineering or Computer Science to join our K-12 Christian school. The role is full-time and permanent, starting Term 1, 2027, with a strong focus on building student skills in SE/CS and contributing to a faith-based educational community.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Education, NESA Accreditation, and WWCC, with a passion for secondary education and collaborative teamwork. Working rights for Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.)
• Current NESA Accreditation and WWCC (or eligibility to gain)
• Appropriate qualifications and experience teaching Software Engineering or Computer Science
• Excellent communication skills
• Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education
• Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the school
