Job summary

Nuage in Melbourne is seeking an experienced CIAM/Identity engineer for a six-month contract to design, build and prove out customer identity and access management solutions. You’ll work in a high-performing cross-functional squad to deliver secure auth platforms touching millions of users.

Candidates should have hands-on CIAM with ForgeRock or similar, strong Java/Go/Python, knowledge of SAML/OAuth/OpenID, and CI/CD practices; hybrid in-office 2-3 days per week, Melbourne-based, full working

Qualifications

• Hands-on CIAM experience with ForgeRock (preferred), Ping, Okta or Auth0. Oracle or CA platform experience is also considered.
• Java, Go or Python software engineering
• Deep knowledge of SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID and forms-based authentication
• Networking fundamentals: HTTP/S, TLS, TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies
• CIAM and API-based design/deployment experience
• CI/CD in practice, with Git/GitHub, GitHub Actions, Gradle and similar

Job description

My client, a large Australian enterprise, is growing its Identity, Verification and Authentication team. You’ll build the customer identity platform that millions of people touch, as part of a high performing cross-functional squad, and help lift engineering practice along the way.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, building and proving out (POCs) customer identity and access management solutions
• Triaging and fixing issues across the full stack
• Shaping the design and architecture of multiple concurrent projects
• Helping the wider team level up on CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on CIAM experience with ForgeRock (preferred), Ping, Okta or Auth0. Oracle or CA platform experience is also considered.
