Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management is seeking a Software Engineer - Mobile App Developer to shape and grow the React Native mobile experience at the heart of the eShepherd platform. You will design and implement features for iOS and Android, collaborating with product, cloud, firmware and hardware teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

We're looking for a Software Engineer - Mobile App Developer to help shape and grow the mobile experience at the heart of our platform.

Why This Role Is Different

Our mobile application is the primary way customers interact with eShepherd technology in the field. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll develop features that help farmers manage livestock remotely, monitor performance, and make informed decisions wherever they are.

You'll work on meaningful technical challenges including connected devices, geospatial experiences, real-time data, and low-connectivity environments, collaborating closely with Product, Cloud, Hardware and Firmware teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership, contribute ideas, grow your technical capability, and see your work used by customers every day.

As a Software Engineer - Mobile App Developer, you'll contribute to the design, development and enhancement of our React Native application across iOS and Android.
