Job summary

Conexxia, a leading Australian IT Consulting Company specializing in end-to-end IT solutions, agile development, continuous delivery, smart automation, low code, and DevOps, is seeking a Software Engineer based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth. You will design, develop and maintain usable, robust, and scalable software applications across the full software lifecycle.

In a Scrum team, you will implement best-practice design and user experience, analyze requirements and document solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of development experience.
• Experience designing and implementing modules and App connectivity methods like APIs & SOAP with WSDLs.

Job Description

Software Engineer Salary: $70,000.00 to $150,000.00/year Conexxia is a leading Australian IT Consulting Company specializing in end-to-end IT solution, agile development, continuous delivery, smart automation, low code, and DevOps. We are passionate about strategic automation and Digital Transformation and currently service prominent clients across Australia. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software Engineer based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.

Your role: As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain software applications that are useable, robust and scalable. You will implement best practice design and user experience, ensuring that the software meets both functional and non-functional requirement of the client. Analyzing requirements and developing documents which specify solutions to these requirements is key.

Responsibilities:

• Participate as part of a scrum team in sprint related activities (Analysis, Design, Build/ Development) in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release.
• Demonstrate initiative in contributing to problem solving, design solutions and team goals.
• Write operational and software documentation necessary for the application from a technical standpoint.
• Provide technical solutions in terms of code, design, and industry best practices to ensure a quality product.
• Document technical designs to enable stakeholders and governance teams to review and endorse solutions being implemented.
• Coordinate across multiple scrum teams to ensure functionality and integration points are working as per business expectation
• Document and maintain existing development, change requests and new development.
• QA/Test newly delivered features.

Required Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related discipline
• Minimal 3+ years development experience
• Experience with designing & implementation of modules and App connectivity methods like (APIs, SOAP Requests with WSDLs, Database Links)
• Appian experience preferred, creating Appian plug-ins, smart services and knowledge of Appian product Architecture is a strong plus
• CI/CD experience
• Working knowledge of Agile tools preferably JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience communicating with peers, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements & describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
• Exposure to FITNESSE tool
• Understanding and experience with current code repositories such as TFS, GitHub etc
• Experience in working with Agile framework
• Experience in workflow modelling, SAIL, Tempe is preferred
• Initiative-taking, analytical, and driven to overcome challenges
