As a Software Engineering Intern you will work side-by-side with Senior Engineers building resilient systems, solving real challenges, writing code, and mastering AI-driven development practices. You will; Contribute ideas in technical discussions and see them come to life. Design, test, and deploy features used by businesses around the world. Learn new skills every day in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Harness advanced AI developer tools. Pair directly with Engineer to design, test, and ship high-impact features powering WEX’s global financial technology platform. Engage in technical workshops, present demos, and collaborate across global technology teams.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in your penultimate (second-to-last) year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Solid foundation in modern object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go).
• Passion for leveraging generative AI, LLM tooling, and modern developer utilities to accelerate workflow and problem-solving
• Strong logical reasoning, curiosity, and a drive to understand system design from first principles
• Proactive communication skills, eager to seek and integrate direct technical feedback

This is a full-time, 1-year internship starting soon.
