Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to own the development, implementation, and testing of operational tooling for the Leo mission. You will collaborate with ground and space systems teams to understand how the system functions and deliver integrated solutions to prepare for and execute launches.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software development, strong design/architecture experience, and proficiency in programming languages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Own the development, implementation, and testing of operational tooling for the Leo mission.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across ground and space systems to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare for launches and on-orbit demonstrations, design operational tests, and drive automation with scalability in mind.
