Job summary

NCS Australia is looking for a Software Developer (Level 2) to join a collaborative Agile development team, working on designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting innovative software solutions.

You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams, and help ensure high-quality technical outcomes while learning from experienced engineers in a dynamic, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in a software development environment.
• Experience with C++, C#, .NET, Visual Studio.
• Experience using NUnit for unit testing.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of relational database design and development.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development, maintenance, and testing activities.
• Support software and system design initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
• Produce technical documentation, design specifications, and supporting materials.
• Actively contribute to Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and sprint deliverables.
• Assist in the delivery of high-quality software solutions through effective testing and quality practices.
• Provide second-level technical support to product integration and technical support teams.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Adhere to established software engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
