About the Role

Responsibilities

As a Softscape Team Member your daily tasks will include :

  • Carrying out landscape maintenance duties such as mowing edging pruning planting mulching and hedging to ensure green spaces are healthy and visually appealing.
  • Assisting with softscape installation and minor landscape construction tasks including turfing and basic paving rectification under the guidance of a team leader or supervisor.
  • Operating and maintaining small plant and equipment such as mowers blowers and whipper snippers safely and effectively.
  • Following site plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety procedures on-site.
  • Supporting the wider team with general labouring and clean‑up tasks to keep job sites safe and tidy.
  • Reporting any site issues or hazards to your supervisor promptly.
About You
  • Previous experience in landscaping horticulture or related fields.
  • A basic understanding of plant care irrigation systems and landscape construction techniques is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
