Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners in North Lakes, QLD, is seeking a Content and Social Media Coordinator to own the brand narrative across national channels. You’ll craft stories, manage the content calendar and collaborate with teams to bring the brand to life online.

You’ll be comfortable filming and editing short-form video, writing engaging copy, and optimizing WordPress content and SEO fundamentals. This role offers creative freedom with a clear path to leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation, ideally within a B2B environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Confidence filming and editing short form video.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and SEO fundamentals.
• Experience with scheduling platforms, ideally Hootsuite.
• Ability to interpret performance data and act on insights.
• Desirable: drone experience, Canva and relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Plan, film and edit short form video content, including in the field and at trade shows and conferences.
• Write, edit and maintain website content in WordPress.
• Build relationships across the business to uncover and capture compelling stories.
• Monitor performance data and use insights to refine content.
• Prepare a monthly report on results and recommendations; and
• Review existing content and the website, and bring a fresh approach within your first few months.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established national business based on Brisbane's northside, with a loyal customer base across Australia. As they bring social media in house, they are seeking a creative and confident Content and Social Media Coordinator to take ownership of their content and share their story with a national audience.

This role goes beyond content creation. It's about storytelling, bringing the brand to life across every channel and connecting with a multi-generational audience, including the next generation of customers.

With minimal red tape, you'll have the creative freedom to bring fresh ideas and help position the business as a leader in its industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn;
