Job summary

Respect’s Derwent Views in Hobart TAS is seeking a full-time Social Care Coordinator to plan and deliver meaningful social care and lifestyle activities for residents in an aged care setting.

You will work with the care team to support resident wellbeing, connection and engagement through activities that promote choice, dignity and quality of life.

The role requires a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, strong customer service, excellent communication and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Relevant Certificate III or Certificate IV qualification.
• Genuine interest in working in aged care.
• Well-developed customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
• Current National Police Certificate.
