Job summary

Orro is seeking a SOC Analyst to join its Security Operations Centre in Australia. You will work across detection, response, and continuous improvement, analyzing complex events and leading incident response for diverse customer environments.

You will mentor juniors, lift capability, and shape detections to prevent future incidents while collaborating with SOC peers to strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of detection and response tooling experience.
• Solid grounding in modern security technologies and incident response.
• Ability to translate technical detail for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Investigate SIEM events and track emerging threats.
• Own incident response from triage to resolution.
• Analyse phishing activity and suspicious activity to identify risk.
• Lead threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across customer environments.
• Build high fidelity detections via tuning and rule creation.
• Mentor junior analysts and lift SOC capability.
