Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Project Engineer to support and enhance a Snowflake-based data platform hosted on AWS. The role emphasizes hands-on data engineering, platform support, and cloud-native data solutions.

You will work with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and AWS services to monitor, optimize, and deliver data platform initiatives while collaborating with data engineers, DevOps, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building Snowflake-based data platforms on AWS.
• Strong data engineering and platform support skills.
• Experience with dbt transformations and Airflow workflows.
• Proficient SQL and data warehousing knowledge.
• Familiar with Git-based CI/CD and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of Snowflake-based data solutions on AWS.
• Monitor Snowflake environments for platform stability, performance, and availability.
• Develop, maintain, and support dbt transformations and data models.
• Support and optimize Apache Airflow workflows and data orchestration.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver data platform initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline, integration, and platform issues with root-cause analysis.
• Implement platform monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Assist with production deployments, release management, and environment support.
• Maintain technical documentation and project artifacts.
