Job summary

William Buck is seeking an SMSF Accountant with approximately 2–3 years demonstrated experience to join us on a full-time basis. Working in a supportive team, you will gain hands‑on experience across SMSF compliance, reporting and administration, while building strong technical capability and client relationships in a specialist superannuation environment.

Your responsibilities will include: Completion of SMSF financial statements and income tax returns; Preparation of pension commencement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated experience (2 - 3 years).
• Be passionate about helping clients.
• Be a problem solver, with exceptional attention to detail to produce high quality work.
• Display a high-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness.
• Be a team player with the ability to form relationships easily internally and externally.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administration of pensions.
• Preparation of rollover statements and transfer balance account reports.
• Assisting with SMSF windups.
• Liaising with SMSF Auditors.
