Job summary

Smokemart & Gift Box in Tasmania is seeking customer service superstars to join our holiday team for the busy season. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, wrap gifts, restock shelves and keep the store bright and welcoming during November to January.

You must be at least 18, available weekends and late shifts, and willing to obtain a Police Check; roster across seven days may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Available Nov 2026 – Jan 2027 (including public holidays).
• Roster across 7 days a week; weekends required.
• Police check required.
• Able to stand and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases.
• Wrap gifts and handle cashier duties.
• Restock shelves and maintain store presentation.

Looking for customer service superstars to join us this silly season! It’s that wonderful time of the year - the season of giving and receiving gifts. Come spend your holiday season with the loudest and proudest teams in town - Smokemart and GiftBox!

We are looking for Sales Assistants across our 250+ National Store network who love being hands on and engaging with people, to move more gifts than the North Pole ever could!

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to get their entry into Retail, fill their time (and bank balance!) over Uni break, or simply build their personal and professional skill set.

• Ability to be on your feet handling our beautiful GiftBox and interacting with our customers.
