Job summary

Smokemart and GiftBox is seeking a Sales Assistant for our Grafton South store. The role focuses on creating a fun, authentic shopping experience, delivering high levels of customer service, and building rapport with customers.

You will handle cash, learn product knowledge, and contribute to store presentation and KPIs in a busy retail environment. The position supports ongoing training, opportunities for growth within a supportive team, and adherence to WHS and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with ability to handle fast-paced retail.
• Experience in cash handling and EFTPOS systems.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge across pillars.
• Able to maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.

Your role:

• Providing high levels of customer service and building strong rapport
• Sound Cash Handling and Eftpos
• Learn and maintain solid product knowledge across all pillars of the business
• Maintain high level of store standards, assist with merchandising and presentation
• Work towards budgets, targets and KPI’s
• Assist with stock control and quality management
• Follow national legislation, WHS and security guidelines

You will also have:

• A passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Proven ability to work within a fast-paced retail environment
• A happy, friendly and energetic personalityA desire to deliver high quality customer service
• Valid Police Check Report is required if successful in interview stage
