Job summary

The Woolcock Institute of Medical Research is seeking a Clinical Fellow (Advanced Trainee) for a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Sleep Medicine training position commencing February 2027. The role spans two major units: the Woolcock Clinic and the Sleep and Circadian Research Group, with responsibilities in clinical service delivery and research participation.

Based primarily at Macquarie Park, the position also involves affiliated sites such as RPA Hospital.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for Sleep Medicine Advanced Training through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
• Willingness to travel between Woolcock Institute and RPA Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide Sleep Medicine clinical services across two core sites including specialty clinics and diagnostic services (polysomnography, CPAP titration, sleep studies).
• Participate in Sleep and Circadian Research Group projects and potential participant screenings and visits.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and support interdepartmental clinical and research activities at affiliated locations such as RPA Hospital.
