Eco Garage Doors in Dandenong South is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator/Welder to join their family-owned manufacturing team. You will analyze drawings, fabricate sheet metal, and weld using MIG, TIG and ARC processes.

The role is full-time with on-site work. Candidates should hold AQF Certificate III or IV and have 2+ years welding/fabrication experience, read blueprints, and commit to safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• Must possess at least AQF Certificate III (with minimum 2 years on‑the‑job training) or AQF Certificate IV with 2 years of experience OR 3+ years relevant experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and high quality workmanship in metal fabrication and welding.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strict safety awareness and adherence to SOPs.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze detailed fabrication drawings and specifications to identify materials and equipment.
• Assemble and manufacture sheet metal products following established procedures.
• Verify adherence to specifications before measurements.
• Perform welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC) and weld components in various positions.
• Use hand torches and furnaces for pre-heating when needed.
• Operate welding equipment, folders, and other power tools for fabrication.
• Create templates for various processes and inspect workpieces for defects.
