Job summary

SLH Group is seeking experienced Skilled Labourers for commercial construction projects across Newcastle. On active, fast-paced sites, you will support site operations, assist trades, and help maintain safety and efficiency.

This hands-on role requires a White Card and prior commercial site experience; weekly pay, ongoing opportunities across the Central Coast, and overtime on selected projects are available, with rates commensurate with experience and tickets.

Qualifications

• White Card (Construction Induction Card) required.
• Previous experience on commercial construction sites.
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic.
• Full PPE provided/required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools, including drills, grinders and jackhammers.
• Assist with steel fixing and cutting reinforcing steel.
• Install, relocate and maintain temporary fencing.
• Site clean-up, waste management and maintaining safe areas.
• Move materials, load and unload deliveries; assist trades and subcontractors.
• Support daily site operations to keep projects running smoothly.
• Adhere to site safety requirements and company procedures.
