The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily construction activities at the project site. Working closely with the Project Manager and engineering team, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of construction activities across the project. • Programme & Productivity: Plan and coordinate daily and weekly works, monitor progress against programme milestones and proactively address construction delays or constraints.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, materials and subcontractors to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
  • Safety Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, site inspections and proactive hazard management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans and relevant construction standards.
  • Site Coordination: Manage site access, construction staging, material deliveries, permits and the establishment and maintenance of site facilities.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction challenges, working collaboratively with the Project Manager and engineering team to maintain progress.
  • Cost Awareness: Monitor labour hours, plant utilisation, material usage and subcontractor performance to support efficient project delivery.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate daily site records, progress reports, resource allocation records and other required project documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with project personnel, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant stakeholders throughout construction.
About You

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain progress in a busy construction environment.
  • Relevant construction qualifications, supervisory experience and applicable site competencies.
  • Availability to work onsite in the Luddenham area / surrounding suburbs!
