Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is assisting a major infrastructure project in Southern NSW to hire a Site Safety Coordinator. The role focuses on coordinating site safety activities, providing WHS guidance to construction teams, and supporting WHS system deployment across the project.

You will bring 4+ years in construction safety or tunnelling, a Diploma in WHS, White Card and a valid driver's licence, with strong communication and stakeholder skills to drive a proactive safety culture on a

Qualifications

• 4+ years' construction and/or tunnelling safety experience.
• Experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management.
• Experience with audits, investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Tunnelling or underground construction experience highly regarded.
• OFSC experience highly regarded.
• Diploma in WHS or equivalent.
• White Card and driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site safety activities and resources.
• Provide WHS advice to construction and project teams.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor and report safety performance.
• Ensure WHS systems and processes are implemented across site.
• Participate in construction planning and coordination meetings.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Promote a strong and proactive safety culture.
