Axon is seeking a site reliability engineer to help build and run reliable cloud platforms and tooling from a remote location in Australia. You will apply SRE principles to boost stability, performance, and security while writing clean code and supporting incident response.

You will collaborate with product teams, maintain documentation, and grow your technical skills in a mission‑driven environment with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• The candidate has 2-5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong Linux background.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, C#, Java).
• Familiar with CI/CD and automation.
• Experience with observability tools.
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Australian citizenship or eligibility for Australian government security clearance.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles
• Solid understanding of operating systems, preferably Linux
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms like AKS, EKS, or similar
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C#, Java, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, APM)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., Terraform, ARM, etc.)
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Australian government security clearance, or ability to obtain clearance (AUS citizenship) required
