Cleanaway Waste Management, Australia’s leading total waste management and environmental services company, seeks an Operations Manager to lead Wingfield site operations. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will drive safety, efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage budgets, optimise resources, and collaborate with sales to support tender submissions and business growth while consistently improving site performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within transport, logistics, manufacturing, waste management, or an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible safety leadership and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams to foster a high-performing, engaged, and safety-focused culture.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and service excellence to achieve business objectives and customer expectations.
• Manage departmental budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation to optimise financial performance.
• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to support tender submissions, customer solutions, and business growth opportunities.
• Act as the primary operational contact for customer enquiries, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee equipment utilisation, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site performance.
