A prominent construction firm in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects within tight budgets and timelines. You will coordinate trades, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to safety standards. Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction.

• Participate in lesson learnt sessions to improve performance.

About Us

Responsibilities

• Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.


• Be responsible for coordinating trades onsite.


• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards.


• Co‑coordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub‑contractors carry work out safely and efficiently.


• Liaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner to maintain Alder's strong reputation.


• Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment.


• Ensure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed.


• Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.


• Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.


• Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team.

About You – Skills and Experience

• 5+ years experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction as defined under the building codes of Australia (BCA).


• Relevant trade background and competencies.


• Open Builders Supervision licence issued by QBCC.


• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.


• Willingness to lead and motivate team members.


• Person who is enthusiastic, self‑motivated and quality driven.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals.


• Good computer/mobile device skills for daily use of programs & apps (e.g. Procore).
