Job summary

Ventia currently seeks a permanent full-time Site Engineer to deliver pavement‑focused works across the SRAPC network, with occasional night shifts (about once a week). The role is primarily based at our Arndell Park office with frequent site visits across Western Sydney.

Graduates are welcome, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil preferred) plus a current Drivers licence and White Card are required. You’ll contribute to community safety and road user experience through reliable infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or related field preferred; graduates welcome.
• Experience in pavement works or road maintenance is a plus.
• Strong communication and site coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pavement projects including asphalt re‑sheeting, stabilisation and concrete works.
• Conduct site scoping, measurement validation and resource coordination.
• Manage tactical maintenance activities and minor capital projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and internal crews.
• Ensure project outcomes meet time, cost and quality requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ventia delivers the Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract (SRAPC), maintaining and improving one of Australia’s busiest road networks. Due to increased workload, we’re hiring a permanent full-time Site Engineer to deliver essential maintenance and minor projects across this critical network. What You’ll Do
