Simulation Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager (or delegate) and is responsible for performing all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices in a safe and effective manner. The goal is to ensure maximum availability and reliability of training systems to support successful training outcomes for end users.
As a Simulation Technician, you'll be at the heart of aviation training technology, maintaining and repairing advanced flight simulators, including Level D full flight simulators, electromechanical motion platforms, immersive visual environments, and high-performance computing clusters. You diagnose and fix issues to ensure pilots can train without interruption.
RAAF Base Amberley - on-site role.
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance to work in this role - you must be an Australian Citizen.
