Image Sign Group in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking an experienced hands-on Signage Production Manager to supervise our workshop, lead a skilled team, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. This role suits an experienced sign maker stepping into leadership or an established production manager who enjoys staying involved on the tools when required.

You will drive workflow, manage resources, and uphold quality across all high-profile signage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the signage industry.
• Previous experience leading teams within a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of signage fabrication methods, materials and installation processes.
• Experience with large-format signage, illuminated signs and architectural signage.
• Ability to read technical drawings and production documentation.
• Current driver's licence and a trade qualification in signwriting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operations and production schedules.
• Lead, mentor and support the production team.
• Allocate labour and resources to maximise efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of quality control across all projects.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and job documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, installers and suppliers.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with WHS policies and safe work practices.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with fabrication and production tasks when required.
