Job summary

Kinetic Specialised Resources is seeking Coach Drivers to support a 6-week continuous shutdown project in the Bowen Basin. You will operate vehicles with a focus on safety and high-quality passenger service across shift starts at 4:00am or 4:00pm.

Applicants must hold a current MR license (or above) and a valid QLD Driver Authority. You will undergo pre- and post-departure checks, with on-site camp accommodation, meals, and paid flights provided while on roster. Training is on-the-job and paid.

• Current MR (Medium Rigid) driving licence (or higher) is required.
• Current QLD Driver Authority (essential) is required.
• AustralianWorkRights is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself, passengers and vehicle at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
• Perform pre-departure and post-departure vehicle checks.
• Undertake minor mechanical tasks and routine maintenance on your vehicle.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as required.

The opportunity

We are seeking applicationsfor Coach Drivers to work in our Kinetic Specialised Resources division based within the Bowen Basin area to work across a 6-week continuous shutdown project

What the position offers

• Casual rate- $51.40 plus camp allowance (including casual loading)
• Location:Bowen Basin
• Early morning and afternoon starts (4:00am and 4:00pm)
• Uniforms:Supplied
• Accommodation:Camp and meals provided whilst on roster

You will be involved in

• Consistently ensuring the safety of yourself, your passengers, and your vehicle.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Performing pre- and post-departure checks.
• Undertaking minor mechanical services and maintenance on your vehicle
• Ad-hoc duties as required

The boxes you’ll tick

• A currentMedium Rigid (MR) driving licence or above
• Current QLD Driver Authority (essential)
• Be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, medical history check, and if required Coal Board Medical and STD 11
• Minimum 1 year's heavy vehicle driving experience
• Ability to be flexible, possibly working from different camps each week
• Ability and willingness to provide support in or outside of your daily duties
