The Role

You’ll be the welcoming face of our Lismore branch, helping walk‑in customers, answering inquiries, and guiding people toward the right product solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage reception duties, including answering inbound calls and general inquiries
  • Perform banking, act as timekeeper, and upload safety/competence records in Oracle
  • Coordinate with internal teams (credit, delivery, technical) to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with showroom administration and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct pre‑production calls to customers and scan/upload completed sales orders into Oracle
  • Develop product knowledge from technical specifications through to installation advice
  • Create accurate quotes using V6 software and process smaller sales
  • Follow up on leads and help convert showroom visits into confirmed orders
  • Meet key targets around quote accuracy, follow‑up, response time, and customer satisfaction
About You

You’re eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, and motivated to provide a positive customer experience. You’re technically minded, comfortable with numbers, and just as confident at a computer as you are face‑to‑face with customers.

  • Friendly, professional, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software
  • Enjoys helping people and providing excellent customer service
  • Motivated to grow your skills and take on new challenges
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Experience in a trade, technical field, or sales is a bonus but not essential

This role can also be a stepping stone into a Sales Representative position within the G.James Group for those who want to grow.
