Job summary

IGA in Sydney's northern suburbs is seeking a friendly Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our well-presented supermarket in Balgowlah Heights. You will engage with customers, operate the checkout and keep the store looking sharp. We value reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.

Previous supermarket experience is preferred, but we’ll consider applicants who demonstrate a strong customer focus and willingness to learn. Applicants must be 18+ and hold a current NSW RSA certificate.

About the role

The role involves a variety of day-to-day supermarket duties, including:

• Serving customers and operating the checkout

• Restocking shelves and maintaining a neat, well-presented store

• Receiving deliveries and unpacking pallets

• Assisting with general store duties as required

• Providing friendly and helpful service to our customers

What we’re looking for

As the store includes a liquor department, applicants must be 18 years or older and hold a current NSW RSA certificate.
