Job summary

Harris Farm Markets is looking for a friendly Shop Assistant to help customers find what they need and keep the store looking fresh. No experience is required as we will teach you everything.

Bring a positive attitude and love of great fresh food and you’ll be part of a team that values customers and community. You’ll rotate stock, assist with shelves and provide on-the-floor service, while upholding food safety and store standards in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
• Physically capable of manual handling and being on your feet.
• A team player with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster AM & PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Filling and rotating stock to maintain full, fresh, and appealing displays.
• Keeping the Back of House organised, clean, and well-managed.
• Monitoring stock quality, dates, and rotation (FIFO).
• Maintaining excellent shelf management for accurate customer convenience.
• Providing helpful, on-the-floor customer service; maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
